The Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Hybrid course is designed for EMS providers, emergency responders, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the prehospital and emergency care of trauma patients. This course is ideal for individuals working in EMS, emergency departments, fire departments, military medicine, and other critical care environments who seek to enhance their trauma assessment and intervention skills.

Course Overview:
Endorsed by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) and the American College of Surgeons' Committee on Trauma (ACS-COT), the PHTLS Hybrid course is the gold standard in prehospital trauma care education. This evidence-based course emphasizes a systematic approach to trauma assessment and management, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to provide efficient, high-quality trauma care in high-stakes scenarios.

Course Objectives:
By completing the PHTLS Hybrid course, participants will be able to:

Hybrid Course Format:

• Part 1 (Online Modules): Students must purchase and complete the online portion of the course before attending the in-person session. The online modules provide foundational knowledge and trauma concepts needed for the hands-on skills session. This information will be emailed to you for purchase separately after enrollment into this course.
• Part 2 (In-Person Skills Session): This instructor-led portion reinforces the online content through practical application, hands-on skills stations, and scenario-based assessments.

Certification:
Upon successful completion of both the online course and in-person skills session, participants will receive a NAEMT PHTLS Provider Certification, valid for four years.

Pre-Course Requirement:
📌 MANDATORY: Participants must complete and purchase the online modules before attending the in-person session. Proof of online course completion must be presented on the day of class. Failure to complete the online portion before class will result in rescheduling.
