Target Audience: This course is meticulously crafted for healthcare professionals involved in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies, including but not limited to personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care settings such as physicians, nurses, and paramedics.

Course Overview: The ACLS Provider Course, proudly endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA), is designed to build upon the foundational skills of Basic Life Support (BLS), with a strong emphasis on high-quality, continuous CPR. This advanced course aims to refine participants' abilities in recognizing and intervening in cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest care, acute arrhythmias, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

Course Objectives: By the end of the ACLS course, participants will:

  • Master the BLS, ACLS, and Primary Assessment sequences through a systematic approach.
  • Efficiently recognize and manage cases of respiratory and cardiac arrest.
  • Initiate early management of conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia.
  • Employ advanced airway management techniques.
  • Address ACS and stroke with prompt recognition and management strategies.
  • Enhance team communication skills, both as a member and leader during resuscitation.
  • Foster effective team dynamics in resuscitation efforts.

  • Updates on the latest science in advanced cardiovascular life support from the AHA Guidelines for CPR & ECC.
  • Fundamental BLS skills, including chest compressions, bag-mask device use, and AED application.

Certification: Successful completion of the course, including passing the skills test and written examination, awards participants with an ACLS Provider course completion card, valid for two years.

Pre-Course Requirement: It is mandatory for participants to complete the pre-course self-assessment AND pre-course work prior to attending the class. The required materials must be presented in PDF format on the day of the course. Failure to comply will necessitate rescheduling.
