It is ideal for personnel working in emergency departments, intensive care units, critical care settings, and pre-hospital environments, including physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and advanced medical providers who require ACLS certification or renewal.
Course Overview: The American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course builds on the core skills taught in Basic Life Support (BLS) and focuses on advanced training for managing life-threatening cardiovascular emergencies. This course strongly emphasizes high-quality CPR, effective team performance, and evidence-based decision-making in high-pressure scenarios.
All course content reflects the latest science and recommendations, including the most current 2025 AHA Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) .
What You Will Learn: By the end of this ACLS course, participants will be able to:
Apply a systematic approach to patient assessment using BLS, ACLS, and Primary Assessment algorithms.
Recognize and treat respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest emergencies.
Identify and manage acute arrhythmias, including symptomatic bradycardia and tachycardia.
Demonstrate effective advanced airway management techniques.
Understand appropriate medication use and pharmacology during resuscitation.
Recognize and manage stroke and acute coronary syndrome (ACS) using current ACLS guidelines.
Lead or participate in high-performance resuscitation teams with clear communication and role coordination.

High-quality CPR and effective team-based resuscitation.
Cardiac arrest management, including defibrillation and post-cardiac arrest care.

Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) recognition and treatment priorities.

Certification: Upon successful completion of the written examination and skills evaluation, participants will receive an official AHA ACLS Provider eCard . Certification is valid for two (2) years and is accepted nationwide by employers, healthcare organizations, and academic programs.
Pre-Course Requirement: All participants are required to complete the AHA pre-course self-assessment and required pre-course work prior to attending class. Proof of completion must be presented in PDF format on the day of the course. Failure to provide documentation will require rescheduling.
